How does this portable DVD play charge?

The portable DVD player will only re-charge the battery when connected to an AC adaptor or the 12 volt DC adaptor and while the power switch is selected to OFF. When connected to these power sources and switched ON the DVD player will not charge the battery.

Can I connect this portable DVD player to a TV?

Yes, connect the included 3.5mm to AV cable (Yellow, Red, White) from the AV out of the portable DVD player to the AV input of your TV.

Why are there Subtitles when I play a disc?

Press the SUBTITLE button on your remote until the the display read "SUBTITLES OFF". The SetUp screen under the section for Language will also allow you to turn this feature OFF.
