At first it was quite a challenge to keep the drone going in the desired direction, and just when we got the hang of it the batteries were drained. (hint; have at least 3 batteries on hand to enjoy yourself). Have experienced problems with camera not working from start up my son's I-touch, but just a quick off/on get us connected. Very light weight does keep us grounded during the slightest of wind.
I am new at this but, I called support because I removed 2 of the blades and then realized that they are in a specific order. So after explaining this. I was told to put in the batteries and fly it????. All I need is a diagram showing front and rear of drone and the corresponding order of the A and B blades. A-B-A-B, B-A-B-A, A-A-B-B, It is difficult enough to replace the blades but not impossible. The order in which they are originally supposed to be in would be a BIG help.
Good drone but no sound. I have a couple other drones that record video and they were both less expensive and record sound. This is the only wifi drone I have, so maybe that's the difference. I assumed it would record sound along with the video but it doesn't.
bought a falcon pro 24hrs ago 2nd flight motor is burnt out and locked up almost cost me the whole drone! Also the motors are built or glued in place and can't be removed to change them with out damaging the product beyond repair. 2/10 wont be buying this brand again.......
I will say the camera was nice for the price, but I still stand my ground will not be buying another one...
I've only had this drone less than 2 weeks. The 2 things I like most about it are its size and how well it maneuvers. My 2 least favorite things are the battery life and the 4 second emergency prop off situation. I've only been getting 4-5 minutes of battery life from this drone. I bought another battery but it's kind of disappointing to have to spend so much time charging for so little flight time.
The 4 second thing is the most difficult thing about this drone. Like another reviewer said; the rotors begin spinning once the transmitter is paired with the drone. Problem is that the only way to stop the rotors is to hold the stick down for 4 seconds. That is a terrible situations when my 4 year old daughter is around. And problem is the drone sometimes moves along the ground during that 4 second period, so I ran into the side of my car once. But the absolute WORST part about it is when descending rapidly. I was bringing the drone back down, not even in an emergency situation, and held the left gimbal down for 4 seconds so the props stopped completely and the drone fell from around 20 feet in the air. It flipped over right before crashing to the ground; luckily the only thing that broke was the camera. I guess lucky since it still flies, but really unfortunate since I can't use the camera anymore. Buyer be aware of this feature; it REALLY sucks. Once the rotors stop spinning it takes at least 10 seconds before they begin again. So don't make the same mistake I made.
Got this quad for Christmas from my girlfriend I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy one for the 1st time or as a replacement it's very well made easy to operate once you get the hang of it and I have crashed it many times haven't broken a blade or a guard nothing unlike another drone I had prior to this it cost more money harder to fly and always breaking blades and guards by the way that drone takes off while 50 ft in the air and I have not found it to this day
I liked it for about 2 minutes. Then it fell out of the sky, I walked over to it flipped it right side up and tried to take off again but it wouldn't leave the ground. One of the 4 motor barely spinning. I let it sit for about ten minutes and tried it again and it took off felw about 30 seconds and fell!!! So I let it sit . picked it up and hit to altitude. One of the motors spins fine for about 30s-1m and then starts spinning super slow! I tried both resets. But, the problem stays. I believe it is a faulty motor and would like a new one. I don't see any one this site though
