Very good
I love the portable arm band radio. I run every morning and usually use my phone to enjoy music. But my phone gets heavy and sometimes no where safe to hold it while running. This arm band is perfect for it! It sits nice and sturdy on my arm without falling out of place. It’s easy to wear on either arm and it’s very comfortable. It’s easy to change the station on the radio although I have it set to one. The sound is very clear and it’s comfortable to wear headphones with it. I would absolutely recommend this arm band radio for anyone looking for music or news broadcast listening while running, walking, doing house work etc. it will not disappoint.

Cool little radio!
I was given the opportunity to sample the gpx R300S armband radio, and this little guy is just so cool. I hate downloading music to my phone. We have really good radio stations here. I was able to program my favorite radio stations, strap it on and go outside in the garden and listen to them. It has a great connection, and is easy to switch between stations. This also allows me to not use up my battery life on my phone. My husband took it to work yesterday and he says he likes it, and it works good, but wishes the ear plug cords weren't so long. I highly recommend the R300S armband radio.

It's good, but I wanted it for ghost hunting
This is a good radio but I was trying to buy a cheap radio to rig to make into a Ghost Hunting piece "Spirit Box" it's nice and all but I can't open the back to get into the hardware. The screws have a weird triangle head and are deep into the appliance. For those who don't own it this doesn't access the battery's, the battery's are easy to install. I'm just trying to get into the hardware and use the inside pieces for another activity. I didn't buy the 2 year insurance on it either because I knew I was going to go against the factory design on it. So I give it 5 stars because it does it's job but you don't want it to fall apart like I was wanting it to.

battery enclosure will not close properly.
I just bought this at Wal-Mart and put the 2 aaa bateries in as instructed and the cover would not close easily. i had to force it. The the controls would not wor when the lid was all the way closed. I tried to get the batteries out and the lid remained partially open, but in that position the radio would turn on and adjust. When I closed the lid the controls would not work. I would have to wear the radio upside down to be sure the batteries would not fall out. I would love this item is the battery situation worrked as designed, but as it stand I will take it back.

Convenient simple device!
The device works great, although I would recommend busing or using a different, more fitting type of plug in headphones with it because the ones that come with this product unfortunately aren't shaped efficiently for use in jogging, walking or running...they'd never stay in! I'd also suggest to the inventor of this product to maybe add a Bluetooth connection feature, so u could use Bluetooth enabled headsets or even a built in speaker that doesnt require headphones or bluetooth to connect to phone to play your own playlist. As far as simplicity though for just a simple am/fm radio with alarm feature, channel preset feature as well as time input feature, it's great! Even has bass feature!

Love it!
This is the best small radio I've bought so far.I rebroadcast certain computer radio talk shows by a low power fm transmitter, so I can monitor my signal I use the R300S with earphones most of the broadcast day.I had been using Sony Walkmen but they kept breaking and didn't have the clarity of the R300S. I spotted this radio at our local Big Lots store and gave it a try,I liked it so much I went back and bought 4 more. I hooked up a small fm transmitter to my tv and use one of the radios to listen to the tv without bothering my wife. The only thing I don't like is the battery compartment is designed so it could break fairly easy. Otherwise it's a great little radio

Surprisingly Great Radio for Low Price
I bought this radio to take out running and for it's small size for overseas trips. It didn't say, but it also receives FM stereo. The sound quality is fair, but becomes excellent when used with high quality headphones or connected to a good stereo amp. The AM section is also very good and has excellent selectivity and sensitivity. I damaged the headphone socket when I forced the removal of the headphone plug. I recommend twisting the plug as you remove it if doesn't come out easily. As a retired electrical engineer, I took it apart and fixed the socket and was also pleasantly surprised at the circuit design.

Some Major Problems
The radio sounds great, I get clear reception, and it's easy to carry because of the arm band. I bought one for myself and one for my wife and had the same problems with both: The station buttons do not work as documented...they keep resetting the station every time you try to program it and the battery cover only lasts for a few days, then you have to tape it shut with VERY STRONG DUCK TAPE otherwise the contacts lift off the batteries and it turns off. My wife no longer uses hers and I have to keep adding duck tape to keep the battery cover from falling off all the time. Great sound but very poor quality product.
