I can not hear any sound from the AM/FM radio?
Make sure you do not have the AUX input connected, as this will override the radio output.
I cannot find any channel on the short wave setting, only static?
Broadcast channels found in short wave are more erratic compared to AM/FM. Short wave by it's nature performs better after sundown. After sundown short wave signal is less interrupted and has a better chance of reaching your radio.
