FAQs

HOW CAN I USE THE BLUETOOTH FEATURE?

• This unit has a Bluetooth transmitter. It can transmit audio to an external Bluetooth speaker.
• The PJ609 has built-in full range speakers. However, you can also connect external speakers for
more sound options.

Bluetooth - Pairing to Wireless Speakers or a Sound Bar

NOTE: Bluetooth is OFF by default when the projector first powers ON. Bluetooth can be turned ON or
OFF from the OPTIONS Menu.

1. Enable Bluetooth on the Bluetooth receiver (Bluetooth speaker, Bluetooth soundbar etc.) that
you would like to connect.
2. Power on the projector and make sure the projector's Bluetooth is ON (see note above). The
projector will begin searching for nearby Bluetooth devices to connect to and will automatically
initiate pairing. Note: To eliminate confusion, disable Bluetooth on all receivers to which you
do not wish to connect.
3. When successfully paired, the Bluetooth receiver should indicate it is connected, usually with a
chime or tone. Check the user manual on your Bluetooth receiver for more information.
4. When successfully connected, the projector will display the Bluetooth receiver's (your speaker
or sound bar) name on the top right portion of the Main Menu screen, and sound played from
the projector will be heard through the Bluetooth receiver.

After initial pairing, the projector and the Bluetooth speakers will stay paired unless unpaired manually
by the user or erased due to a reset of either device. If this occurs or you find either unit is unable to
connect, repeat the above steps.

CAN I CONNECT HEADPHONES OR A SPEAKER TO THIS UNIT VIA AUX CABLE?

Yes, this unit has a Headphone jack (audio out). You can use the included 3.5mm to RCA stereo cable, or your own 3.5mm Aux cable to connect an external speaker or headphones to the Headphone Jack on the projector. The projector will automatically detect the connection and the audio will be heard from the connected speaker, headphones, etc.

Note: The yellow video plug on the included 3.5mm to RCA stereo cable will not be needed in this setup and will not need to be connected.

The PJ609 has built-in full range speakers. However, you can also connect external speakers or
headphones/earbuds for more sound options

HOW CAN I ADJUST IMAGES?

HOW CAN I CONNECT MY SMARTPHONE TO THIS UNIT TO WATCH VIDEOS?

You can use an HDMI adaptor to connect your phone to this unit. Please contact your smartphone
manufacturer’s customer service for the appropriate HDMI adaptor for your phone.

CAN THIS PROJECTOR CONNECT TO A TABLET/SMARTPHONE THROUGH BLUETOOTH?

You cannot project onscreen images with Bluetooth. Bluetooth technology does not stream video or image, it streams audio. You can use an HDMI adaptor to connect your tablet/smartphone to the projector. Please contact your tablet/smartphone manufacturer’s customer service to find the best HDMI adaptor for your device.

HOW CAN I CONNECT DEVICES TO THIS PROJECTOR TO WATCH MOVIES, VIDEOS, etc.?

To connect devices to this projector to project images, videos, movies, games etc. follow the guidelines for your preferred connection option below.

HDMI

HDMI offers superior sound and picture quality and is the easiest way to play media from a computer,
laptop, DVD/Blu-Ray player, cable box, gaming console, streaming device, or another device with an
HDMI output. Requires an HDMI cable (included) and a device with an HDMI output.

1. Using an HDMI cable, connect the HDMI 1 or 2 input on the projector to the HDMI output on
your media player.
2. Set the projector's Source to the connected HDMI input and use the controls on the connected
device to select and play media.

Note: You can use an HDMI adaptor to connect your smartphone/tablet to this unit. Please contact your
smartphone or tablet manufacturer’s customer service for the appropriate HDMI adaptor for your
device.

Audio/Video Input

Requires a 3.5mm to RCA audio/video cable (included). This connection can be used with media players
that have RCA stereo audio outputs and composite video output, such as DVD players, cable boxes etc.
1. Connect the 3.5mm to RCA audio/video cable to the AV input on the unit.
2. Connect the 3.5mm to RCA audio/video cable to the RCA stereo audio outputs and composite
video output on the media player.
3. Set the projector's Source to AV and use the controls on the connected player to select and play
media.

Computer Video (VGA)

Note: VGA connections do not support audio. You will need to use the computer's speakers to hear the audio.

Requires a VGA cable (not included) and a desktop PC or laptop with a VGA output.

1. Using a VGA cable, connect the VGA input on the projector to the VGA output on your
computer.
2. Set the projector's Source to PC and use the controls on the computer to select and play media.

MicroSD & USB Storage Devices

Supports MicroSD cards and USB drives up to 32GB. Supports AVI, MOV file formats.

1. Load a USB drive into the USB Port or a MicroSD card to the MicroSD Card Slot.
2. Set the Source to Media Player, then use the Arrow buttons to select "C:Drive" or "D:Drive"
(C:Drive is the SD card, D:Drive is the USB).
3. Use the Arrow buttons to select Music/Photo/Movie, then press the OK button to begin playing
content from the connected storage device

I am still waiting for a projector screen to be delivered and just used a white bedsheet to check it out. Even with the sheet it produced a great picture. I hooked up audio speakers and everything was in sync and sounded great. I set up before dusk outside and the picture was so so (to be expected) but as it got darker out the picuture just got better and better. Overall very happy with quality of this product at this price point. The only thing that is uncertain is how long this product will work for and i guess only time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charmin from Love It GPX sky rider projector I brought one of these from fingerhut about 1 month ago had it in my living room but then put it in my bedroom then I purchased another one from Amazon but it wasn't working was so upset waiting for replacement I don't want my money back I want and new one that works like my first one but other then that I love it thinking about putting one in all 7 bedrooms okurr I would highly highly highly recommend it hear me ppl Highly highly recommend. No Cap Now im writing my review to enter to win 150 visa gift card and guess what I'm gone do with that if I Win buy another one lol lol for real. Hubby on the game 5am using this projector

Rated 5 out of 5 by SarahSp. from Quality projector, convenient size Exactly what I needed for watching movies outdoors on the patio. Don't let the size fool you, it performs perfectly. It's light & portable, the projected picture quality is crystal clear, the sound from the projector is satisfactory (no need for a sound bar if used for a small gathering), and it comes with a remote. The only con about this product is that it did not include an HDMI cable (which is essential since most likely you will be connecting the projector to a laptop in order to watch anything conveniently). FYI: If you have a newer laptop like mine, it will not have an HDMI port, but it will have a USB-C port - So you will need to buy a USB-C to HDMI adapter to connect the HDMI cord to the laptop and to the projector. Overall, the product is great and worth it.

It’s not the sound bar, as it was connected to a tv previously. Suggestions welcome I would recommend this if the sound sync is remedied.

Big Screen: Up to a 150-inch picture is perfect for outdoor movie nights or presentations. Multiple Connections: HDMI, USB, and even Bluetooth give you loads of ways to connect a device. Good battery life: Being rechargeable means you can set it up without worrying about power cords. Cons: Can't connect phone directly to projector Sound quality: The built-in speakers are okay but lack depth. Consider a Bluetooth speaker for better audio. Lower resolution: Not a huge dealbreaker, but other projectors in the price range might offer sharper visuals.

If I want it to play movies from my portable USB drive, it will! If I want to connect one of my gaming consoles (It has 2 HDMI port BTW) I can! If I want to connect a thumbdrive with media on it, I can! Micro SD cards, I can! It even has a VGA port!! Not only do I use it for all of those things but I also use it to transfer my artwork to larger mediums like 40 x 60..easy tracing! Oh yeah and it has a nice little remote that really comes in handy!

My son's friend had one and packed it. It was awesome. Much smaller than a television, convenient to pack, fits in any closet or cubby, connects easily to my Roku and works off iPhone hotspot. Can easily use a white sheet or blanket for your screen. This projector was awesome for rainy moments or late night movies. Volume was perfect. I decided to order one while I was still on vacation. Didn't wait till I got home. This will be an awesome addition to our home and camping adventures!!! Love the compact qualities as well as performance of the product. No need for a television in the camper with this projector.
