To power the unit or charge the internal battery, plug the Micro-USB charging cable into the Micro-USB charging port (INPUT) on the lantern and the USB port of a powered on computer or USB power adapter (not included). Initial charge time is approximately 3.5 hours.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE LANTERN?
1. Press and hold the Power button to activate the lantern. When the lantern is on, press the Power button again to chance lantern modes.

Useful, Durable, Compact Powerhouse!When I first received my WeatherX Lantern & Powerbank I was skeptical due to its compact size that it could do as advertised however one session of use made me a believer! This dynamo does it all! It provides great lighting and options for lighting, easy to store/carry, design allows for all kinds of various places to use, is durably constructed and the ability to charge and be charged is a true value. I now have 2 and while I use them in a lot of different scenarios my favorite is to keep them on my boat where it augments my cruising, navigating and anchoring lighting needs. Great for emergency and every day usage. Going to be my new go to for gifts to our active friends. Highly recommend.

Great compact lanternI received this as a gift and love it. As a camper this small lantern was a great addition to our camping supplies. It provides a great light with several settings and it even has an emergency flasher setting. It has a clip that makes it easy to attach to a line, rope or other device so that it can be hung up to illuminate a larger area. It's small enough that it can be easily carried if needed as well. For example, it would not be cumbersome to use for nighttime trips to the bathhouse. It's also sturdy and weathered a drop or two and kept on working. I'm happy to have this lantern.

Great Lamp!I received this week ago from my company as a reward for service. It came fully charged and worked great out of the box. Has a solid feel to it. easy to operate. The lamp has multiple settings which have many uses. The brightest setting is impressive even in evening when there is still light out. I like the lowest setting for soft light in my room so as not to blind myself looking for anything. Charge stays for much longer then stated. The S.O.S. feature is a nice add so this will be going into my vehicle "get home" bag. Charges other device(phone) slow but still did it in under an hour. takes about three hours to recharge the lamp itself.The flip up hanger is sturdy and doesn't seem like it will break when the lamp is hung. Great product and I'll be buying an extra for my fiancee's vehicle as well.

Great Little Tool To HaveI purchased this lantern/power bank with some extra money hoping it will come in handy during a power outage or trip outdoors. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of its construction and brightness of the light, as well as the magnet feature and hanging handle. Expect it to come in handy for keeping the phones charged and providing some decent light in dark times.

Great Camping LanternUsed these on a 5-day camping trip. Easily lasted the whole time. Plenty of light for reading,etc.
Pros: Bright enough to light a large tent. Easy to hang. Long lasting charge.
Minor Cons: The on/off button would be inaccessible if magnetically mounted. You have to hold the on/off in for a second or so - not just a click

Good Lamp for small spacesI purchased this to use in a room that has no light. At first, I was co concerned that a light this small wouldn't have produced enough light, but the high intensity setting works perfectly. I recommend using this for small spaces rather than large rooms. If I was going to choose a sticking point, I'd just say that placing basic user instructions on the product may be beneficial. Just a brief printed message that says something like 'HOLD-PWER ON/OFF' This way, multiple users can quickly figure out how to use the light

Bright long lasting lanternGot this through a promotional offer at my work. Really impressed! Love the magnetic top, lantern is bright! Campers, this unit is small and compact but does provide ample lighting. I love how fast it recharged too. Nice gadget! Rugged, useful and compact.

Tiny but Mighty!This is the cutest little lantern! It is about the size of a large apple. BUT, it has a very bright light with different modes including a flashing emergency mode. There is a place to charge your USB items. This little gem is very useful when you don't have power. Charge lasts a long time. This is a very helpful and powerful light in a small, easy to store size. I'm so glad I purchased it! I was most definitely pleasantly surprised.
