My radio will not make a sound when tuned?
Please make sure you have disconnected the Aux input cable from the WR383R.
Will the solar panel charge my phone?
No, The solar panel will only provide enough power to operate charge the internal battery of the main unit.
Will the dynamo hand crank charge my phone when connected to USB?
Yes. In cases of emergency the Dynamo will provide 5 volts of power provided the handle crank is turned twice every second.
My product does not work with batteries, why?
Due to the variation from manufacturers for the "AA" cell batteries we recommend the use of Duracell batteries with this product.

All-around full of features performer
This little jewel has so many features...it performs admirably and radio reception is nice and clear...the weatherband is also clean and clear...the unit has a lantern and flash lite built-in...power options are plentiful...use hand crank for a couple of minutes and have juice...use 3 AA batteries or the supplied ac adaptor... you have solar panel that allows charging of the unit...if that wasn't enough to pack into a unit, it gives you a USB plug to charge your phone or other device...line-in spot for headphones...forgot this weatherband comes w a siren to warn the listener of inclement weather or warnings....whew so much but works really well...thanks GPX

Great radio with so many different options
After going through Hurricane Sally 2020 and losing power for 4 days, I went on-line and purchased this great radio. During the power outage I had no way of knowing what was going on in my county of residency. My cell phone could only provide so much information and I had to constantly go to my car to charge my cell phone. If I would have had this radio prior to the Hurricane, I would have had at least weather and news updates. All the features are great as well, the radio can be plugged, runs on batteries, runs on solar, and has a hand crank. Also has a flashlight and a lantern. I highly recommend this Radio.

Poor quality
Purchased this product for a Father's Day gift for my elderly dad. It worked fine for a couple of weeks. Then the ac adapter stopped working. He's been powering it with batteries for the past two months, because he didn't want to tell me it stopped working. 90 day warranty is expired and the store doesn't take returns after 30 days. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

Multiple Uses
When we lost electricity for over 72 this product was a lifesaver. I especially appreciate the fact that it has everything I needed during this weather emergency. The radio, flashlights, phone charger, hand crank and solar charging panel. The only minus was that it wasn’t clear that a rechargeable battery would be the best choice for powering the product. After purchasing multiple packages of AA batteries I realised that a rechargeable battery would have been the better choice. I would recommend this product to anyone for their emergency kit. Very satisfied and I look forward to using it for camping as well as emergencies.

Great item to have for ermergency/survivial event.
This radio is awesome. One can charge the internal battery with solar, hand crank, or with with DC adapter the old way if you have a generator or other power source. One can also use 3 AA batteries instead of the internal battery. It has a flashlight. It has a bright lantern. The radio is AM, FM, and weather band. One can also charge other devices with it, like phones or maybe blue tooth devices. It has a "line in" plug. This wonderful little radio also has a loud siren and flashes a red light while its sounding, and last but not least it has a thermometer. It really is a must have for any go-bag or emergency/survival backpack. Well, I suppose one could also use it for camping.

Sturdy, Portable, Convenient AM/FM Radio!
I bought this radio for daily use at work. I chose this model for the portability and bonus emergency features...just in case! It's perfect for my needs. It's a convenient size & fits perfectly in my durable shoulder strap bag I use for work. It's color makes it easily visible in my work environment. I am able to use rechargable batteries rather than search for an available electrical socket at work, which are usually being utilized! I love having the battery backup for charging my phone should the power ever be out. Radio stations are easily received...a great purchase for my needs!

Quality transreciever. I'm happy with the product
The radio works great. I haven't had a chance to test the solar panel. So, I can't comment. I enjoy the analogue tuning. I often work in remote locations as an arborist and I can get signals from very far away.
One, negative I must comment on is the thermometer. It's 63°F here and the thermometer reads 90°F. I believe that the thermometer isn't calibrated and just put on top of a sticker at the factory. That's my only complaint. I will calibrate it myself.

Has everything you could want or need!
This is a great radio! I was looking for a weather radio that would be of use in emergencies and power outages. This exceeds my expectations on every level. Uses not only ac power, but AA batteries, comes with an internal rechargeable battery (how often do you see that in a budget friendly radio? and a crank that can even help charge your phone when power is out! Weather radio,flashlight, lantern, thermometer-GPX thought of everything! I really recommend choosing this great product if you're in the market for a great weather enabled radio. It gives you so much more!
